Profile: Historian of medieval religious movements, with a particular focus on heresy and anti-heretical polemic in Central and Eastern Europe. Research interests include medieval church history, identity, and communication, with attention to language and performance in political and religious discourse. Author of a monograph on the medieval Waldenses and multiple peer-reviewed publications. Engaged in public history and cultural heritage initiatives in Belarus.
