The Annals of Fulda are the most important historiographical source about the history of the East Frankish regnum in the 9^th century, which represents the fundamental changes of the political and social identities in the late Carolingian era. The project analyses systematically text and context of this source by focusing on its manuscript and the reconstructable transmission branches.
