PROSOPON
The PROSOPON-International Research Network is a collaboration network of prosopographical projects with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean, 300-1600. It aims at bringing together prosopography-related projects and connects them to other initiatives with a similar scientific scope. PROSOPON endorses the dialogue between prosopographical projects and the broader scientific community with a variety of communication opportunities and platforms for the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
It bundles together a main core of projects, institutions, and research centres, such as the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the King’s College/Edinburgh University, the University of Mainz/Mainz ScienceCampus, and the National Hellenic Research Foundation. It invites those interested or working in medieval prosopography to share their experiences, exchange ideas and benefit from a growing network of individuals and institutions.
