Bruckner online

Established in 2014, the research platform offers a wealth of information on the life and work of Anton Bruckner, compiled from various projects. Alongside a biography and bibliography of the composer, the platform includes the Digital Catalogue of Anton Bruckner’s Works (dWAB), the Anton Bruckner Lexicon Online (ABLO), the Anton Bruckner Chronology Database (ABCD), a digital edition of the so-called Kitzler-Studienbuch (Kitzler Study Book), and an image database connected to the subprojects, featuring music autographs, early copies, and printed scores.

The platform is currently powered by the WordPress CMS, with text data stored in a MySQL database. Plans are underway to migrate to a system based on static pages. The image database is based on IIIF technology.
