The ACDH’s research is located at the interface of digital humanities (DH) on the one hand and humanities and cultural studies on the other. The institute’s digitally-oriented research in the humanities and cultural studies focuses in particular on the paradigms of linguistics, literary & print culture studies and musicology. These focal points are also reflected in the four research units of the ACDH: The bundling and management of all digital activities of the institute is largely carried out by the research unit DH Research & Infrastructure. In close cooperation with this research unit, the humanities and cultural studies focus of the institute is pursued in the research units Linguistics, Literary & Print Culture Studies, and Musicology.
