The project is the continuation of the DIGITARIUM I project and serves to stabilize and expand the existing web application.

As part of this project phase, the approximately 300 issues to date will be supplemented by a further 800 issues that were published during the Seven Years' War. These new editions are made accessible by providing an extensive index of persons and subjects, which was created many years ago but not published and is now becoming fully functional in the digital paradigm.

The creation of the newly added editions is already largely automated: A specially trained field model is used to recognise the layout and the public fracture model, which has already been used successfully in several projects, to recognise the text. The generated full texts are then transformed into XML/TEI format and made available online in the new DIGITARIUM web application. This is based on the static cookie cutter and, with Typesense, offers an accelerated full-text search geared towards larger volumes of text with a wide range of extended query options.
