Open Science Plan-Track-Assess Pathways

Involved as an affiliated entity of CLARIN, the ACDH has joined forces with 37 other institutions across Europe for the Open Science Plan-Track-Assess Pathways (OSTrails)  project which “aims to advance processes and instruments for Planning, Tracking, and Assessing scientific knowledge production beyond state-of-the art, working with various national and thematic contexts, improving existing infrastructure, and connecting key components.”. OSTrails is led by the Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe (OpenAIRE AMKE), answering the HORIZON-INFRA-2023-EOSC-01 call.

The project’s methodology is based on 3 pillars:

  1. Advancing Scientific Knowledge Graphs (SKGs) by proposing a common interoperability framework aligned with the Research Data Alliance (RDA) proposal

  2. Evolving the machine-actionable Data Management Plan (maDMP) model, developed by the RDA group, as the core framework for exchanging DMP information

  3. Operationalizing the systematic implementation of FAIR Metrics across various research outputs - from datasets and publications to software and workflows

The ACDH is contributing to tasks related to the SKG interoperability framework, especially leading the implementation of a thematic pilot which aims at making SSH Open Marketplace SKG-compliant.
