
Advancing FronTier Research In the Arts and hUManities (ATRIUM) is a HORIZON Europe project in response to the call HORIZON-INFRA-2023-SERV-01-02, bringing together leading European research infrastructures DARIAH, ARIADNE, CLARIN and OPERAS.
It aims to provide humanities scholars improved access to a rich portfolio of state-of-the-art services, and other resources, and to enhance interoperability between data and services in accordance with the FAIR principles – making data more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
Arts and Humanities is a very diverse field, covering a range of disciplines and communities of practice that have different epistemological and methodological foundations. ATRIUM will tackle this heterogeneity by
ATRIUM will also deliver a curriculum of training materials and run several training events to ensure the uptake of the newly provided functionality and tooling.
The team at ACDH is involved in multiple work packages. Especially, it is leading the work package 3 on “Findability of Data and Tools” dealing with metadata harmonisation and enrichment in the heterogeneous landscape as well as questions of data interoperability through use of standards. It also contributes to work package 6 on “Service Interoperability” and work package 7 providing training to the community and developing training curricula.
