While text is predominant data type in the institute’s projects, oftentimes there is a need for representing data in a structured form, typically as relational or graph data.

We develop and provide database applications implementing bespoke data models. Data in databases is not readily available for sharing outside the application, appropriate interfaces need to be implemented to export the data in interoperable serializations. Two main core services for managing and publishing data about persons, places, institutions, works and events, are APIS and OpenAtlas.
