The Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage (ACDH-CH) brings together two focal points of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in one institute: pursuing basic research in the humanities for the development and preservation of cultural heritage as well as research in the methodological and theoretical paradigms of digital documentation, processing, analysis, and visualization of the digital humanities. Within the ACDH-CH, these two pillars cross-fertilize each other and, thus, contribute to the development of joint work on the rich treasure of Europe’s cultural memory.
