Parliamentary records are an interesting resource for various fields in the humanities and social sciences, such as linguistics, political science, history, as well as for fields in the information sciences such as NLP or information retrieval. The ParlAT corpus contains the Austrian parliamentary records of the National Chamber („Nationalrat“) – one of the two chambers of the Austrian parliament. The ParlAT corpus covers the parliamentary records from the XXth to the XXVth legislative period (1996–2017). The ParlAT corpus was in some way the predecessor of the ParlaMint-AT corpus with slightly different encoding and was used as data set in different projects such as for example DYLEN.
