Building on the 149 works listed in Renate Grasberger’s earlier catalog of works, the new digital catalog was expanded to over 300 works from 2017 to 2020. This expansion includes autograph sketches, study materials, copies, and arrangements. Another new feature of the updated catalog is the addition of polyphonic notational incipits, which, in the case of multi-part works, provide the beginning of each section.
The work information is stored as MEI data in an XML database (eXistdb) and curated using the Metadata Editor and Repository for MEI Data (MerMEId). The technical implementation was completed in collaboration with the DHRI research unit, and updates are made on an ongoing basis.
