International Symposium on Hearing 2025

Advances in Auditory Physiology, Perception, and Cognition

The 20th International Symposium on Hearing will take place in Vienna, Austria, from June 1 to June 6, 2025. The venue of the symposium is Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg, a former grand imperial retreat with a spectacular view over Vienna. Participants will be accommodated on site in order to create an intimate atmosphere and stimulate close exchange of ideas.

ISH meetings have a long tradition of bringing together researchers from different areas of hearing science, including psychophysics, physiology, and auditory modeling. The ISH2025 will be open also to the emerging field of auditory cognitive neuroscience. Consistent with previous format, we invite innovative unpublished contributions from any of these areas. Contributions will be considered for either oral or poster presentation. Besides established researchers, we also encourage contributions from younger researchers (e.g., late PhD phase) for whom a reduced registration fee will be offered by means of studentships.

There will be a ISH2025 Special Issue in the open-access journal Trends in Hearing.
