Christiane Herzog beendete ihr Studium der Sprachwissenschaft am Institut für Linguistik der Universität Wien mit einer Dipomarbeit zum Thema "The Acquisition of Prosody. A Confrontation of the Principles & Parameters Model and the Optimality Theory Account in the Database of an Austrian Child." Sie kam im September 2001 an das Institut für Schallforschung, wo sie auch die Sekretariatsarbeit übernahm.
