… studied violin, Baroque violin, musicology, and art history in Cologne/Wuppertal, Zurich, and Vienna. In 2015, she earned her PhD in historical musicology from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and received the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Economy’s “Award of Excellence 2015” for her dissertation. In 2023, she completed an MBA in Management & Technology (General Management) at Technische Universität Wien, supported by a “Diversity in Leadership” scholarship, and received a “Best Study Award.” From 2016 to 2020, she was a member of the Young Academy Mainz, and from 2018 to 2025 she served as co-editor of Musicologica Austriaca – Journal for Austrian Music Studies. She has taught at the University of Vienna and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and is currently a lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts, where she leads the SNSF project “Editorial Decisions under the Microscope” (Spark funding for unconventional, high-risk research ideas). She currently serves as a member on the Commission for Interdisciplinary Schubert Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

At the ACDH, she works in the Department of Musicology, which she joined in December 2014 as part of the project Johannes Brahms Complete Edition. She currently heads the Vienna Research Group of the New Schubert Edition and leads the project Schubert-digital; she is also the principal investigator of “Schubert meets AI” (City of Vienna, MA 7). She has contributed to the projects Schubert-online and Johann Joseph Fux Edition and led a research project on Brahms reception in Vienna funded by the City of Vienna’s Department of Cultural Affairs. Her research and publications focus on music philology, reception studies, and performance practice, as well as digital musicology and the digital transformation of music education.
