… is a Research Data Manager in the Data Management and Preservation team within the DH Research and Infrastructure research unit at ACDH, where she supports (meta)data curation for ARCHE (A Resource Centre for the HumanitiEs).
She is also a postdoctoral researcher at the Central European University, where she investigates how social event construal shapes memory as part of the LISA project. She previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh, studying how language prediction is affected under challenging conditions, and completed her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and the Donders Centre for Cognition and Behaviour, Radboud University, investigating the role of visual bodily signals in language processing.
Her past work combines behavioural experiments, eye-tracking, virtual-avatar paradigms, and conversation corpora, analysed using statistical and data-science methods. She is committed to Open Science and FAIR data practices and has taught university courses on topics including metadata, repositories, and ethical dissemination. She also enjoys science communication and is the co-author of The Language of Time, an illustrated children's book on language and cosmology.
