
... has been the AI Consultant at the ACDH since 2026. In this role, she advises research projects on AI potentials, develops and implements AI methods, coordinates AI strategies, and promotes AI literacy. She is part of the Consulting & Project Management team and is part of the cross-disciplinary platform MLA²S (Machine Learning at the Austrian Academy of Sciences).
Elisabeth has a background in computational linguistics with her dissertation focusing on enhancing stylistic diversity in language resources, anonymizing textual data and detecting offensive language. Lately, she worked on AI services for research, teaching and university administration and ensured their trustworthiness and fairness. She is particularly interested in responsible and sustainable AI approaches and the unique challenges digital humanities offer in this regard.
