
Mag. Elisabeth Königshofer, MA BA BA
... received her MA in Digital Humanities from King’s College London in 2022, where she focussed her degree on user experience, liminal spaces between physical and digital museum content, and data visualisation. Prior to working in digital humanities, she taught English, Latin, German as well as Austrian history and literature at the University of Reading (UK) and secondary schools in Vienna, following a teaching degree from the University of Vienna in 2014. Her research interests include data visualization, UX and UI design, Anglo-Irish Victorian literature, feminist political dissent, memory studies, and disability studies.
At the ACDH, Elisabeth is part of the research unit DH Research & Infrastructure. She is currently working as a Training and Communciation Officer on established training offers like the Tool Galleries and Lectures for the ERICs and Education team. Since January 2025 she is part of the project ARTEMIS (Applying Reactive Twins to Enhance Monument Information Systems) for DARIAH in the Initial Training Design work package. In addition, she serves as DARIAH-Campus community editor.
