Up-to-date research in the humanities requires the availability of digital data and tools. The go!digital programme of the OeAW promotes the humanities and improves the framework conditions for data-based and data-driven research in the humanities on a sustainable basis.
Successful projects will combine scientifically innovative research questions on the basis of broad material with technical know-how. They must have clearly defined goals and demonstrate the added value created by the digital approaches. Proposals can be submitted by researchers of institutions in Austria that work in a scientific context (institutes, commissions, centres, archives, libraries, associations, etc.). A total of 3 million Euro is available for the current call. The grant per project is between 150.000 and 220.000 Euro.
