Its 27 research institutes offer scientifically demanding tasks across a broad spectrum of disciplines on all career levels. The OeAW career model opens up manifold opportunities for young researchers all the way up to a tenure track option for junior group leaders. In consultation with the working group on non-discrimination, the OeAW is also committed to offering equal opportunities to men and women, the promotion of women and equal opportunities regardless of ethnicity, religion or world view, age or sexual orientation in line with § 7 of the Equal Opportunities Act.
