Anna Mader-Kratky was a research associate in the research unit History of Art until September 2023. She has been a honorary associate in this research unit since October 2023.
Studied History of Art at the University of Vienna; awarded doctorate in 2017. Researcher at the OeAW since 2002 (initially at the Commission for History of Art, then at the Division of History of Art of the Institute of History of Art and Musicology (IKM), 2013–2019, and at the IHB research unit for History of Art 2020-2023). Member of the research project “The Vienna Hofburg, 1705–1835), 2005–2016, project leader together with Hellmut Lorenz, 2014–2016. Various research projects on Vienna in the 18th century (Das Wien[n]erische Diarium, Schönbrunn Palace, Barockstadt Wien digital) since 2017. Local editor of the RIHA Journal since 2010.
