Simon Adler is a honorary associate in the research unit History of the Habsburg Monarchy.

Brief Biography

Simon Adler received his PhD in 2018 from the University of Cambridge (Fitzwilliam College) and completed his Masters in Economics at the College of Europe (Bruges). His PhD thesis examined the contribution of the Austrian enlightenment economist Ludwig Zinzendorf to the political economy of the Habsburg monarchy in the mid eighteenth century. Since 2019 Simon Adler is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Habsburg and Balkan Studies. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Leo Baeck Institute in London.
