The bending module of K&W is dedicated to bending experiments and depending on the used counter bearings three-point and four-point bending experiments can be performed with varying span widths. The advantage compared to the tensile machine is the capability to perform the experiments in combination with EBSD using comparably small working distances to perform high-resolution imaging.
