The MTS Tytron 250 is a tabletop testing instrument with a horizontal configuration and driven by a linear electromagnetic servomotor and air-bearings. Similar to the Instron E3000 it is designed for dynamic and static experiments. The test frame and the large testing space can be used for a large variety of testing tasks including electronics, biomaterials or medical devices. The main purpose of use of the device is focused on the examination of the electro-mechanical behavior of thin film systems.
