The Zwick/Roell Z100 is an universal testing machine mostly used for tensile or compression tests but also frequently for fracture mechanics experiments. The large daylight space enables the installation of furnaces, nitrogen baths in combination with considerably long load trains allowing a high flexibility in the testing challenges. It is equipped with a load cell for up to 100 kN capacity. The machine is also equipped with a high precision laser extensometer for contactless displacement measurements. Together with our small-scale testing capabilities in total 12 orders of magnitude in force are covered (10-6N – 105 N).
