Wiener Bruckner-Studien
With a volume dedicated to Anton Bruckner’s Viennese Years (Anton Bruckners Wiener Jahre. Analysen – Fakten – Perspektiven), the new book series „Wiener Bruckner-Studien“ was founded in 2009. Covering a broad range of topics, and thanks to the collaboration of foreign Bruckner scholars, nine volumes are currently available. Within this publication series, the extensive archival holdings of St. Florian Abbey were inventoried in three volumes by Elisabeth Maier and Renate Grasberger. A volume on Bruckner’s early years in Linz was published in 2020.
A contribution on Bruckner as professor at the Conservatory of the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna and vol. 4 of Bruckner iconography are currently in progress.
