Digital Humanities for Children and Young People

The Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage offers a growing repertoire of educational activities targeted at schools and young age groups. The activities are, on the one hand, designed to create awareness for the potential of digital humanities research and to include young people in the societal discourse about digitization and research, on the other hand, they aim to support the acquisition of digital competences and to transfer know-how regarding the use of digital resources and tools.
