The Bruker D2 Phaser is a fully self-contained benchtop XRD system, capable of high-throughput phase ID measurements on powdered and small-outline bulk and film samples. For this purpose, it is equipped with

  • a low-maintenance 300 W Co-anode sealed X-ray tube,
  • a six-sample auto-changer and
  • a high-speed LYNXEYE-2 Si-strip compound detector with 192 channels for efficient data collection.

Phase identification can be carried out either directly in-system or on a user’s dedicated workstation. Typical applications include fast sample screening for parameter studies, as well as medium-to-high resolution phase characterization on selected samples.
