The Rumul Testronic 100 is a resonance testing machine, which is powerful and energy saving at the same time in comparison to comparable hydraulic test frames. There is a large variation of gripping solutions available so that push-pull, bending or even torsion experiments are feasible. Depending on the activated masses of the oscillating system the testing frequency can be altered in a range between 40 to 260 Hz. The large test space fits environmental chambers and furnaces. In the example above a vacuum furnace is installed with a maximum temperature of 800 °C and minimum pressures in the range of 10-5 mbar. The test rig is primarily used for crack propagation experiments at elevated temperatures.
