Academic Background
Rossen Nenov studied mathematics at the University of Vienna and graduated in 2022 with excellence. His specialization is "Applied Mathematics and Scientific Computing" with a focus on "Convex Optimization". His master thesis was on the improvement of the accelerated Nesterov gradient method.
Current Research
Since May 2022, Rossen Nenov is a PhD student at the Acoustics Research Institute in the research group "Mathematics and Signal Processing in Acoustics", working in particular on the NOMASP project. This project deals with the improvement of algorithms in signal processing using convex optimization methods.
