Academic Background
Lukas Köhldorfer completed his Master’s degree in Mathematics (“passed with distinction”) at the University of Vienna in May 2021. In his Master’s thesis „Fusion Frames and Operators“ he worked on Frame Theory with emphasis on the concept of Fusion Frames. In October 2021 he started his Doctoral studies in Mathematics at the University of Vienna.
Current Research
Within the framework of the project Localized, Fusion and Tensors of Frames (LOFT), Lukas Köhldorfer investigates on the theoretical properties of frames and fusion frames. Apart from Frame Theory, his scientific main interests are Time-Frequency Analysis, Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis and Group Theory.
