… studied musicology, art history and theology at the University of Kiel, where she also received her doctorate in musicology. In 2011, she joined the Austrian Academy of Sciences as a staff scientist.
At the ACDH-CH, she is a member of the research unit Musicology. She coordinates Franz Schubert research activities, works as an editor for the New Schubert Edition and is responsible for the database projects Schubert digital and schubert-online as a project leader. She is also principal investigator of the interdisciplinary project Digitization, Recognition, and Automated Clustering of Watermarks in the Music Manuscripts of Franz Schubert, which is part of the Heritage Science Austria funding programme of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
