… received his Master in 2001 and his doctoral degree in 2003, both from Vienna University. He is a senior academy scientist, editor and project leader at the research unit Musicology. He serves as member of the editorial team of the Austrian Encyclopedia of Music (oeml online) and is project leader of the Anton Bruckner-Lexikon online (ABLO).
His research interests encompass a broad range of subjects from the eighteenth to the twentieth century, especially biographical and micro-history research.
