The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) offers an Incoming Fellowship cum spring school, the MSCA May Days 2026 and invites postdoctoral researchers who fulfil the requirements for applying to a Marie Skłodowska Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) to spend up to one month at one of the 26 institutes of the OeAW in order to prepare a MSCA-PF application. Supported by supervisors, postdocs can take an important step towards developing their own scientific career. As part of the MSCA May Days, the Austrian Academy of Sciences is offering workshops to prepare the MSCA-PF draft application.  In addition, the Austrian Academy of Sciences offers a Seal of Excellence Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. This gives recipients of the MSCA Seal of Excellence Award a second chance at funding.

Application

All submissions are requested in English. The MSCA-PF Curriculum Vitae and a short video of max. 1 minute must be submitted electronically to the Grant Service of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

Selection

Incoming Fellows are selected by supervisors of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, who support the applicants in their MSCA-PF submission together with the experts of the Austrian Academy of Sciences´ Grant Service.
