Throughout his life, Hannes Androsch was a courageous, highly committed and reliable supporter of science. Named after its founder, who died in 2024, the Hannes Androsch Foundation at the OeAW is the most important private charitable foundation for the promotion of science and research in Austria. Its activities are continued in memory of the founder.
