The International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, ICLaVE, is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages and language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change on our continent.
ICLaVE11 is planned as a physical face-to-face event on site in Vienna. Of course, its actual realization is dependent on the relevant framework conditions and official regulations in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic that (will) obtain in Austria.
A corresponding safety and prevention concept will be issued as we move closer to the conference dates. Please keep checking back for information updates.
