April 2023 den neu aufgestellten Förderpreis Wissenschaft und Medien 2022 verliehen: Der Förderpreis Medienforschung ging an Jana Egelhofer, mit dem Hannes Haas-Nachwuchspreis wurde Clara Peter geehrt. Tanja Traxler, Leiterin des Wissenschaftsressorts beim „Standard“, war die erste Preisträgerin in der neuen Kategorie, dem Preis für Wissenschaftsjournalismus. Juryvorsitzender war CMC-Direktor Matthias Karmasin.

    Mr O’Neill is in Vienna for a month to conduct research on Karl Lueger, mayor of Vienna from 1897 until his death in 1910, and Lueger’s cult of personality as it developed in the newspapers of fin de siècle Vienna. While in Vienna, Mr O’Neill will be visiting a range of archives, including the Wiener Stadt- und Landesarchiv, the Wienbibliothek im Rathaus and the archives of the Karl von Vogelsang Institut.
