From 27 to 29 May 2026, the 23rd European Media Management Association (EMMA) Conference took place in Lappeenranta, Finland. From 6 to 8 May 2026, the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Salzburg hosted the 50th Anniversary Conference of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Kommunikationswissenschaft (ÖGK) – the Kommunikationswissenschaftlichen Tage (KWT).
