Johanna Klausing is working as a pre-doctoral researcher at the CMC since 2025. As a member of the research group “Science Communication and Science Journalism”, her research focuses on science communication, science journalism, as well as misinformation in science communication. She investigates how science communication can effectively reach individuals who are particularly susceptible to misinformation on scientific topics. Her academic background is in Communication Science, which she studied at the Institutes of Communication Science in Jena and Münster, as well as at the Institute for Communication and Media Research in Zurich.
