… graduated from the University of Graz in translation and interpretation studies. She holds a PhD from the University of Vienna in translation studies with a specialization in the field of terminology and corpus linguistics. She has been working in numerous national and international research projects first as a junior researcher at the Institute for Specialized Communication and Multilingualism of the European Academy Bolzano, and then as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Vienna.

She joined the ACDH-CH (then ACDH) in 2015, where she currently works as a senior scientist leading the team ERICs (European Research Infrastructure Consortia) & Education within the research unit DH Research&Infrastructure. There she was leading several projects (e.g. DYLENELEXISDYSEN). She initiated the creation of the ParlAT corpus and she is involved in the current ParlaMint project. At the moment, she is involved in the European research infrastructures CLARIN-ERICDARIAH-EU, and their Austrian counterpart CLARIAH-AT.

Since 2024 she is National Coordinator for Austria in CLARIN, and Deputy National Coordinator for Austria in DARIAH.

Furthermore, she is part of the Joint Research Committee in DARIAH.

Moreover, she is active in the Austrian Standards Committee 033 "Terminology, information and documentation" and in ISO TC/37.

Since 2019 she is one of the editors of the Journal of the Text Encoding Initiative.

Furthermore, she has over 15 years of teaching experience in different institutions, at various levels (BA, MA, PhD, Training Schools) and currently she is teaching DH tools and methods at the University of Vienna. At the ACDH-CH she is responsible for the ACDH-CH Tool Galleries.

Her research interests include digital language resources and technologies, especially terminological resources and corpora and the encoding of parliamentary data. Further research interests are terminological research, workflow research, standards, translation studies and the teaching of DH technologies and methods.
