…before graduating with a master’s degree in German Studies, she worked as a student assistant at the research department ‘Variation und Wandel des Deutschen in Österreich’ (‘Variation and Change of German in Austria’) since April 2017.
Since September 2018 she’s a lexicographer for the ‘Wörterbuch der bairischen Mundarten in Österreich’ (Dictionary of the Bavarian Dialects in Austria, WBÖ) at the same department.
Her master’s thesis focused on indefinite determiner doubling in varieties of German in Austria. The thesis was a cooperation with the FWF Special Research Programme (SFB) ‘German in Austria. Variation – Contact – Perception’ (DiÖ). Her research interests range from lexis to syntax in varieties of German.
From 2012 to 2017, she also worked as a lector for an Austrian regional newspaper publisher as well as on several book projects.
