… received his master degree in Catholic Theology from the Karl-Franzens University, Graz and his bachelor in Software Design from the FH Joanneum, Graz / Kapfenberg. He worked as Scientist at the Institute for New Testament Studies, Graz and at the Vestigia Manuscript Research Centre, Graz. Since 2018, he worked as Software Developer in the logistic industry and for a publishing house. His research interests include automatic processing of languages of the ancient Near East, digital lexicography, and digital scholarly editing.

At the ACDH-CH, Mag. Klampfl is part of the research unit Literary&Textual Studies. He is involved in the FWF projects “Dictionary of Loanwords in the Midrash Genesis Rabba”, “The Wissembourg Priscian Glosses”, and the FWF project “(Ps.)-Athanasius, Expositiones in Psalmos”.
