… is a member of the ACDH-CH’s technical group. As a graduate of a technical college for information technology and the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Vienna, he has a strong interest in programming languages as well as natural languages, especially Arabic.

His fields of interest are software development, web development, server management, containerization, and virtualization and Kubernetes cluster. He has been actively involved in the development of several Digital Humanities publication projects. Currently, he is engaged primarily in the projects: VICAV, SHAWI, WIBARAB, TEI-ENRICHER and VOICE 3.0. Additionally, Mag. Omar Siam ensures smooth running of the institute’s servers, Kubernetes infrastructure and automated deployment processes as part of the research unit DH Research&Infrastructure.
