Denise Riedlinger is responsible for press and public relations, as well as for the web editorial department.

Education

Born in Vienna/Austria in 1976, she obtained a BA and teaching degree in Jazz Vocals from Bruckner Conservatory in Linz/Upper Austria in 2001. She then studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she received an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy in 2002. She successfully completed four extra-occupational Journalism classes at New York University (SCPS) in 2011.

Experience

Denise Riedlinger started her journalism career as part of the wienweb.at and Wiener Kabeltext team. Since 2001, she has been publishing a number of articles for print and web, ie. for Jazzzeit (2004-2007), Austrian newspaper Der Standard and science.orf.at. From 2007 to 2010 she worked as a media consultant in New York City for the Austrian Foreign Ministry and the United Nations (UN WOMEN). 2011-12 she was a project manager at the Austrian Trade Commission New York.  

In 2012 she joined the ITA as a writer and editor, since 2013 she is also responsible for the institute's press and public relations.
