… received 2017 his PhD in Theater, Film, and Media Studies from the University of Vienna, where he also  worked as technician at the Departement of Theater, Film, and Media studies and as a postdoctoral researcher in an FWF funded project. Since graduating in 1998 at Technical College HTBLA Kaindorf/Sulm in Styria, Austria he also practices software development (coding and managing) especially for research data oriented projects. His research interests include digital documenting and archiving of cultural expressions – especially theatrical and performative events – as well as data modelling and establishing digital workflows for research.

At the ACDH-CH, Klaus is part of the research unit DH Research & Infrastructure. He is currently working for the EU funded H2020 project EOSC Future building up the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). He is also involved in the projects “Repository Landscape” and “SSH Open Marketplace”. Additionally, he is contact point and maintainer of the ACDH-CH Vocabulary service.
