Kurzbiographie

Mag. Dr. Ursula Reeger ist seit 1989 am ISR als Wissenschaftlerin tätig. Sie studierte Geographie (Studienzweig: Raumforschung und Raumordnung) an der Universität Wien und erlangte 1999 ihr Doktorat. Ihre Forschungsinteressen reichen von internationaler Migration (europäische Ost-West-Wanderung, innereuropäische Migration und Zuwanderung von außerhalb der EU) über Integration (z. B. auf dem Wohnungs- und dem Arbeitsmarkt), bis hin zum Zusammenleben auf der lokalen Ebene, den Einstellungen zu Migration und Integration in diversen städtischen Gesellschaften und der Governance von Integration. Sie hat zu diesen Themen in einer Vielzahl von Büchern und wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften publiziert. Aufgrund ihrer langjährigen Teilnahme an groß angelegten, internationalen Forschungsprojekten ist sie in die europäischen scientific community gut eingebettet.
