Biography


Maeve Hofer is an interdisciplinary geographer, who currently finalizes her Master’s degree in Spatial Research and Planning at the University of Vienna. She completed a Bachelor’s program in Development Studies with a major in Human Geography at Lund University in Sweden including an exchange semester at the Universidad de San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador. Besides courses in geography and planning she has followed classes in ethnography, development studies, urban ecology, architecture and economics.

Since March 2024 she is part-time employed at the BLUEMAP project. There she engages with the availability and perception of urban blue spaces from a citizen perspective as well as participatory planning processes.
