CRACKING THE GENETIC PLANT CODE

Young Academics Summer Portrait Series: OeAW plant biologist Michael Nodine leads a research group that identifies the essential mechanisms of a model plant at the molecular level. His major goal is to understand how MicroRNAs shape the gene regulatory networks that control plant embryogenesis. The findings could lead to new ways to improve crop resilience to climate change impacts.
