Austrian National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics

The Austrian National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics is affiliated with the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM) through the Austrian Academy of Sciences. IUTAM provides insight into the worldwide activities in this field. The Austrian National Committee carries one vote in the IUTAM General Assembly, which among others coordinates forthcoming Symposia and most important the ICTAM (International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) Congress held every fourth year.
