
... hat einen multidisziplinären Hintergrund in Fremdsprachen, Linguistik und Pädagogik. Ihre Ausbildung absolvierte sie an verschiedenen internationalen Universitäten, darunter Irland (TCD, UCD), Spanien (USAL), Portugal (ULisboa), Polen (UJ) und Wien (UniVie). Nach dem Abschluss ihres Doktorats in Linguistik am Trinity College Dublin trat sie 2015 dem ACDH als Postdoktorandin bei, wo sie an verschiedensten Digital Humanities-Projekten mitwirkte und mit Personen aus (inter)nationalen wissenschaftlichen und nicht-wissenschaftlichen Bereichen zusammenarbeitete. Von 2020 bis 2023 war sie außerdem Mitglied des Lexik-Teams im Spezialforschungsbereich Deutsch in Österreich (DiÖ) an der Universität Wien. Sie war in verschiedenen Leitungsgremien tätig sowie als Projektleiterin, Co-PI, Programmkoordinatorin und Lektorin.
Am ACDH ist Amelie Dorn seit 2023 Teil des Consulting & Project Management Teams, wo sie ForscherInnen in den verschiedenen Phasen des Antragsprozesses sowie beim Management nach der Projektbewilligung unterstützt. Außerdem unterstützt sie administrative Abläufe als Teil des Central Office. Sie trägt auch zum Projekt Das ABC der Dialekte bei.
